Roberta E. Kemp, 87, of Golden Good Shepherd Home, formerly of Quincy, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at the home.
Born September 24, 1930, in Timewell, Roberta was a daughter of Virgil and Naomi Jones Hedrick. She married Robert Kemp. He preceded her in death in June of 1997.
Roberta was employed as a bookkeeper and in sales for most of her life. She was a hard worker finally retiring at the age of 85.
Survivors include five sisters, Sherry Sidwell (Duane), Pat Cook (Bob), Sue Akers (Scott), Jackie Hendrix, and Pam Allen (Ernest); a brother, Terry Davis (Sharon); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert; a sister, Cynthia Davis; and two brothers, Curtis and Norman Davis.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23 at the Mound Cemetery near Timewell by Bob Cook. There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside services.
