Lucille Miller-Haschemeyer, 92, of Quincy, (formerly of Golden) died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at her home in Quincy.
Born February 3, 1929, in Quincy, Lucy was the daughter of Edgar and Florence G. Ohnemus Kuhn. She married Russell A. Miller on October 30, 1948, in Quincy. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1993. She later married Norman J. Haschemeyer on June 3, 1995, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camp Point, He preceded her in death on March 3, 1998.
Lucy had been employed at Moorman Manufacturing in Quincy and later worked at Miller Hardware in Camp Point and Osborne Food Center in Golden. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter in Quincy.
Survivors include her children, Suzanne L. Henderson, Hannibal, MO., Sandra L. Flesner (Paul), Camp Point, Randall A. Miller (Debra), Quincy, Ricky K. Miller (Mary), Gibsonton, FL., Lori A. Oliver
(Dennis), Quincy, Russell “Rusty” S. Miller (Sondi), Quincy, and Lesley K. Hicks (Rex), Hannibal, MO.; her grandchildren, Brendan Henderson, Heather Mahsman (Mark), Holly Jo Henderson, Troy Kramberg (Leanne Bohler), Nicole Blewett (John), Dustin Miller (Allie), Lydia Miller, Lindsay Bond (Pete), Julian Miller, Ashlen Lantz (Bryan) Miranda Miller, Johnny Bocke, Kyle Bocke (Jera Iams), Nicholas Bocke, Rachel Wallen (Nate), Whitney Miller, Audrey Miller, Russell Andrew “Drew” Miller (Abbey), Derek Hicks, and Logan Hicks (Kathryn); her step grandchildren, Kory Oliver, Parker Brockmiller (Alli), Brady Brockmiller, Boen Brockmiller, Lacy O'Leary (John), Richard White (Dee), and Lori Kirbach (Tracy); 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sisters-in-law Janet Ehrhardt, and Phyllis Brueggeman; a brother-in-law Otis Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; two grandsons, Mark Bocke and Brett Miller; a son-in-law, Don Henderson; two stepdaughters, Jeanie Bell and Judy White; a step son in law, Dick White; and her brother, Donald Kuhn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Peter officiated by Monsignor Leo Enlow. Interment will follow at Golden Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the O'Donnell Cookson Life Celebration Home in Quincy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Peter, the Golden Historical Society, the Mark Bocke Scholarship Fund at QND or the Brett Miller Scholarship Fund at QND.
