Otis McClain, 78, of Quincy, died at 10:34 a.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Born April 24, 1942, in Clayton, Otis was a son of Otis and Freda Helmridge McClain.
Mr. McClain had owned his own fence building business and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his special friend, Vicky Stice, Quincy and her children; his children, Justin Mclain, Revere, MO., Dawn Fikes (Albert), Independence, MO., Jerred McClain (Katrina), Wayland, MO., and LeeAnn Summers (Keith), Brighton, IL.; his brother, Lester Dale McClain (Patricia), Quincy; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jeanette Arens; his second wife, Ann Morss; two sons, Ronald and Robert McClain; and two sisters, Darlen and Wilma McClain.
Otis was cremated. A visitation will be held Saturday (January 30, 2021) from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
Graveside services will follow at Lost Prairie Cemetery in rural Camp Point at 2:30 p.m.
