Stellamae Fredericks, 77, of Camp Point, died at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Born August 9, 1942, in Brighton, Colorado, Stellamae was the daughter of William Morgan and Phelma Smithe. She married Richard L. Fredericks on August 5, 1961. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1990.
Stellamae had been employed at the Camp Point nursing home in the kitchen. She later worked at Hutter Oil in Quincy and finally retired from Amateur Sports Promotion in Quincy While raising her children, Stellamae served as a bowling coach, little league coach, and scout leader. She had been a member of the Camp Point Lioness Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Wendy Dannehold, Fairview Heights, IL., Mary McCloud (Donnie), Quincy, and Denise Fredericks, Rolla, MO.; a son, John Fredericks, Camp Point; 11 grandchildren, Amy Lynn Cleveland (Nick), Andrew Dannehold, Tyler Dannehold, Brittany Deken, Brooke Fredericks, Chance Fredericks, James Fredericks, Kayla Fredericks, Nathan Daugherty, Bryce Fredericks, and Scott Fredericks; 5 great grandchildren, Miranda and Kaitlyn Clevland, Kaya and Zoe, and Dixie; three sisters, Gwen Bouke (Jim), Delores Walters, and Billie (Bob); a brother, Martin Morgan (Sharon); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Frank Morgan.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 7 at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point by Rev. Sheri Renner. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Quincy.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
